Model Portfolios in Process

I will be posting the process of creating a model portfolio and the variety of images needed. See step by step what I will do for you and how I like to work. It gives you a chance to view the process and see what you will be getting. Photos will be posted weekly.

It will begin with the Polaroid's from a modeling agency to the development of looks and creating the right diversity a model need in their portfolios

Step 1: Polaroid These are your test shots for/from an agency

Step 2: Naturals Clean High Key Portraits, Your First Test Shot

Step 3: Shoot 2-Outdoors
This is a themed shoot outdoors. This was the model first main shoot to where she learned how to get comfortable with herself and posing. In this session, we did a mix or portraits and action shots. I would choose the best two from the session and have them in your book

Step 4: Second PhotoShoot
This is the result of out second shoot. We see a completely different look for the model and it shows her versatility. I like to incorporate ideas and themes that match the models and their personalities and once we finish some or the main portfolio pieces that I believe every model needs, we then begin to create sets and ideas for the rest of their books. The models have a complete input on what the shots in their books are and the look and feeling they want to give off to employers. The set here was done playfully while brainstorming and turned out to look great

Step 5: Now that the model has begun to really learn posing and is able to be versatile we can now add shots to her portfolio where she shows how flexible she can be. As well as the shots become much more intense and demanding. As well as we will begin to use a make up artist and bring in a hair stylist. This shot is a great example of the model really stepping out of her comfort zone and having fun.

Step 6: Depending on the model some girls are more commercial the other but we want your portfolio to have a little bit of everything so in the next shoot we will cove glamour/commercial looks
